Chickens

Finger is getting much better, think I will live! I have to hunt and peck when I type. Talking about hunt and peck, just received my "Organic Gardening" magazine and it has a great article about keeping a flock of backyard hens has gone from being homey to being oh-so-stylishly vogue.

April 27, 2010

Went to an art show in Melbourne Florida, I fell and my little finger looked like a right angle, I have never seen anything like it before! Without thinking I pulled it back into place. Jerry almost passed out, me too. So It is alittle hard to type with a splint on my two fingers.

Will continue when it heals.

April 3-8,1959-63

April 6, 2010-Easter this year was April 4th-Had family and friends. This year I invited some of Jerry and my friends.. It was a Beautiful, perfect day. We decided to barbecue ribs and chicken this year. The kids had there Easter egg hunt. Had a beautiful message from a friend that said she thought it was the nicest Easter she had ever had, that made my day. Sometimes we take family and friends for granted, showing up here for holidays, so much different now that Mom & Dad are gone. My nephews were a no show, think they had to work, think they miss there grandparents. I know I don't even come close to my Mom and Dads being there, I miss that so much. It is very hard getting together (holidays) without them. My grandson said the other day that he couldn't wait for Easter, that he just LOVED family get togethers, I guess that is what makes it all worth while. We are so blessed.
